24 Hours in the Most Remote Golf City

Before PING, before the inventions, and before he changed the game of golf, Karsten Solheim was a Norwegian kid growing up in Bergen.

We travelled to Norway to spend a little time in the place where Karsten's story began. From exploring Bergen and taking in the surrounding landscape to visiting the Solheim family home, we wanted to get a better sense of the life he lived before everything that came after.

Sometimes, to understand where someone ended up, you have to go back to where they started.

Huge thanks to PING and the Solheim family for welcoming us to Bergen and sharing a little more of Karsten's story.
