Morant led the Grizzlies with 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Jaren Jackson Jr. added 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Cedric Coward chipped in 14 points to round out the scoring for Memphis, who improved to 3–2 on the season.
Phoenix was paced by Booker’s 32 points, including four made threes, along with 4 rebounds. Mark Williams posted a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Royce O’Neale contributed 18 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and knocked down six three-pointers. Despite the strong effort, the Suns dropped to 1–4.
