In a span of 18 seconds late in the second quarter of the Pop-Tarts Bowl, Georgia Tech went from down 10-7 to up 21-10. It started with Georgia Tech's Haynes King throwing a touchdown pass to Eric Rivers to recapture the lead. Then BYU fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and it was recovered by Will Kiker to give the Yellow Jackets a first and goal. On the next play, King threw another touchdown pass to J.T. Byrne.
