It wasn't pretty. But Gabby Williams made sure it was a win.
The Golden State Valkyries gutted out a 78-75 win over the Atlanta Dream on June 26, 2026 — their second straight win over Atlanta in three nights — despite one of their worst shooting performances of the season. Missing shots, turning the ball over 12 times in the first half, and connecting on just 22.7% from three, the Valkyries needed a hero in the fourth quarter. They found one.
Gabby Williams scored 13 straight points down the stretch — including a steal-and-score that put the Valkyries up four with just over a minute left — finishing with 16 points to close out the win. Kiah Stokes had the best game of her season with 13 points and 7 blocks. Kaitlyn Chen added 13 off the bench and Tiffany Hayes chipped in 12. Atlanta's Jordin Canada led all scorers with 23 points while Angel Reese posted 15 points and 12 rebounds.
This was a game won on grit, defense, and Gabby Williams refusing to let the Valkyries lose.
