Will the NHL Return to Complete the Stanley Cup Playoffs?

Cam is convinced that hockey is going to resume. His reason is the logical conclusion that the NHL can’t afford NOT to return. The guys point out that golf and NASCAR are poised to resume soon and that the NHL will follow suit after a detailed plan is agreed upon. There are solutions that will work and the guys believe we are getting closer to puck drop. Brian says the next two weeks are critical, pending how things go in some states that are re-opening this week.

The guys do agree there can’t be fans in the stands, at least at the start. But fans and gamblers would be thrilled with televised action regardless. Brian and Cam have a spirited debate as to how the playoff format would work and what teams could get the short end of the hockey stick. They also discuss how great a pay-per-view channel that allows fans to hear the players chirp all game during the game would be.

Brian and Cam share some great hockey stories of the past that will bring back warm memories of happier hockey times. They also reopen some old scabs about weighted officiating in playoffs past.
