Georgia first met Matt when he signed with the Melbourne Storm back in 2009 where he stayed until 2015, since then, he has gone onto play rugby union in New Zealand, including representing the All Blacks, and has now moved his family to Japan where he plays for the Honda Heat.

We chat with Matt about getting through the array of injury setbacks he’s had in his career, the switch from league to union and what it feels like to wear an All Blacks jersey, while he’s killing time before his team has clean up duty - a regular punishment for being late to training in Japanese rugby!
