The Minnesota Wild rallied from a slow start to beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in a shootout on Tuesday at Grand Casino Arena. The Wild trailed 3-0 midway through the second period, before three straight goals from Yakov Trenin, Joel Eriksson Ek and Jared Spurgeon tied the game at 3. In overtime, the Wild killed off a Blackhawks Power Play, and Kirill Kaprizov scored the only shootout goal to lead the Wild to the win, their 17th in the last 18 games against Chicago. The Wild were 5/5 on the Penalty Kill, and Jesper Wallstedt stopped 29/32 shots in net for the Wild, who host Calgary for their next game on Thursday.
