Alex Owumi is a former professional basketball player that is most widely known as the author of Qaddafi’s Point Guard, a book he co-wrote chronicling his experiences in Libya, playing for a team owned by Colonel Gaddafi just before the outbreak of the Libyan Civil War in 2011.
