After the big build up, Gloucester and several thousand Cherry and White supporters travelled to Villa Park for the Slater Cup match between Glaws and Leicester. Unfortunately, the game was pretty much over after 15 minutes and the day was hampered by travel chaos, an underwhelming atmosphere and many left Birmingham with a sense of apathy.
