Did Ryan Day Already Learn The Big Lesson Of The Seahawks' Super Bowl Win?

The Seattle Seahawks just won the Super Bowl thanks in part to former Ohio State football star Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but also due to outstanding special teams play.

That win came just weeks after the Buckeyes and head coach Ryan Day made their own major investment in the kicking game, adding new special teams coordinator Robby Disher from Illinois, kicker Connor Hawkins from Baylor, as well as a high school kicker recruit, a transfer punter, and a pair of long snappers. 

So what inspired the total overhaul of the special teams, and what will it mean for the Buckeyes in 2026?
