The Philadelphia Phillies lost to the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-3 as Aaron Nola was taken for FIVE first inning runs!
In total, Nola allowed 6 runs, all earned over five innings of work needing 95 pitches to get through his outing.
The offense didn't do much to pick up their starter as the Phillies went 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position including an 0-for-3 night from Bryce Harper.
The Phillies’ runs came in the 5th when Trea Turner brought Nick Castellanos home on an RBI single to right. Then in the 7th, Weston Wilson smacked a 444-foot two-run homer to left.
Phillies still have a chance to win the series with Ranger Suarez taking the ball in game three Thursday afternoon at 4:05 against the Brewers’ Freddy Peralta.
