Welcome to our 7 episode series revisiting the 2016 NBA Finals 10 years later. We are joined by our friend and old partner at Playback Brandon Towers aka BTow to break down Game 3. The Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship! Cleveland, this is for you!
Game 3 is when this finals officially became a series! The Cavs won 120-90 as the series shifted to Cleveland. Lebron James started taking control of this series in Game 3 with 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists as well as some incredible defensive plays. Kyrie Irving had his best game of the series thus far, contributing 30 points and 8 assists, inluding 16 first quarter points to set the tone for the Cavs. JR Smith (20 points), Richard Jefferson (9 points, 8 rebounds), and Tristan Thompson (13 points, 14 rebounds) all were phenomenal in their roles for the Cavs, especially with Kevin Love sidelined with a concussion.
