The Red Sox (85-70) clinched the series win with a 6-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays Saturday night at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL.  With the win, the Sox are now 12-4 over their last 16 road games. The Red Sox have won 8 in a row vs. Tampa Bay and the Sox are 10-2 overall against the Rays this season with 1 more to go on Sunday.  Garrett Whitlock worked a scoreless 8th Inning to earn the win. Aroldis Chapman worked a scoreless 9th and recorded his 31st save of the year.

Harrison Takes the Ball: Kyle Harrison made his first start with the Red Sox and was impressive tossing 6 Innings of 1-run baseball.  He left with a 3-1 win and in line for the win but ended up with a no-decision. Harrison walked 2 and struck out 5. Harrison gave up a Single to Yandy Diaz and a walk to Junior Caminero but then retired the next 3 hitters to escape the jam.

Sox at the Dish:  Alex Bregman broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-out, RBI Single in the 5th Inning. Nathaniel Lowe made it 3-1 with a sacrifice fly in the 6th Inning. The Sox went in front in the 9th on RBI Singles from Trevor Story (95 RBIs) and Masa Yoshida. Romy Gonzalez brough in the 3rd run of the 9th Inning with a Sac Fly that scored Alex Bregman from 3rd Base.

--The Red Sox had 4 Stolen Bases Saturday night. It's the 11th time this season where the Sox had 3 or more Stolen Bases in a Game and 5th time with 4 thefts. 

--Since July 10:   42 of the Last 61 Games Decided by 3 Runs or Less, including 19 1-Run Games.             

--Nate Eaton went 0-for-4 at the plate ending his 6-Game Hit Streak. 

--The Red Sox did not collect an extra-base hit in Saturday's win and had their streak of at least 1 extra-base hit ended at 35 straight games. The Sox have had       

   streaks of 35 in a row, 36 in a row and 45 in a row with an extra-base hit this season. It's only the 8th time this season where they failed to collect at least 1 extra-     base hit.

Connelly Early goes in Sunday's finale.  The Sox have Monday off and open a 3-game set in Toronto vs. the Blue Jays next Tuesday.
