The Diamondbacks led most of the way on Monday against the Texas Rangers, but Kyle Backhus, Juan Burgos and company were unable to hold on in a 7-5 loss in 10 innings. Blaze Alexander came through with a big RBI triple, both Geraldo Perdomo and Ketel Marte homered, and Gabriel Moreno had two knocks, but it was not enough.
Meanwhile, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was carted off after an awkward fall in the outfield in the sixth inning. We give the latest injury news on Gurriel, discuss manager Torey Lovullo's bullpen decisions and more. Join Jesse Friedman and Jack Sommers on Snakes Territory.
