Helium Boys Podcast: USC assistant takeaways going into spring camp, Shotgun City fast food

Shotgun Spratling and Chris Trevino return to the microphones to talk about the upcoming spring camp for the Trojans and the recent media day interviews for the assistant coaches.  Chris uses his Two-Minute Drill to pitch his co-host to give up this line of work and start training for the 2030 Winter Olympics in a specific event. Shotgun takes a more rational approach and shouts out the Projans from the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots with his time on the mic.   The boys of Helium briefly the discuss the strange Ja'Kobi Lane story with his locker being raided before discussing takeaways from assistant coaches speaking to the media last week, including defensive coordinator Gary Patterson and safety coach Paul Gonzales.  The Helium Boys then dive into the second half of the show to get Shotgun's reaction to some spring camp themed Take It Or Leave It topics. The hosts also discuss what NFL Trojan that they would add to the 2026 roster.
