DOWN BUT NEVER OUT: Panthers came back again as they proved that no lead is safe!

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to break down the Panthers 5-3 win over the Washington Capitals, as it was another comeback win with Washington breaking the tie in the third, but the Panthers responding with three unanswered. It was a high event, high scoring period in the first with four goals combined, while the second provided zero. Panthers power play looked a lot better than they did on Saturday night, and got one on the board (Reinhart), and one just a second after one expired and it was the goal that had the Panthers back in the game, thanks to Brad Marchand. The Panthers top line forecheck was a major story in the game as the Luostarinen-Lundell-Reinhart line were a force on whoever they matched up with on the evening, and it set up the game-winning goal to defenseman Aaron Ekblad, and the Cats never looked back. Panthers were able to fight off a Tom Wilson's attempt at a hat trick, including a big stop by Sergei Bobrovsky with the glove while the Capitals were short handed off the rush. It's a regulation win that keeps the Panthers inside of the playoff race in the eastern conference and a stretch of five games in nine nights.
