PP Letdown: Bolts wanted to muck it up, given multiple opportunities + Tkachuk Back in Practice

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Kassi Coviello(@Kassi_Coviello) of Chick in The Stands to discuss the Panthers 4-2 loss at the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night where the Panthers were able to get 11 power play opportunities as the Bolts ended up going to the penalty box more often after a game with a bunch of post whistle scrums. Florida was able to get one of their opportunities to convert, but not before the Bolts scored first short handed to tie the game at one. The power play also had a bunch of mixing and matching due to some of the players on the top unit also going to the box for coincidental minor penalties, so Florida was working with different personnel all evening long. Florida also were also giving up on the rush due to either errant passes or mistiming pinches, which had got them behind as Tampa Bay scored right before the first period ended. The two also discuss the comparisons between the Panthers before and after the holiday break, the results have been hit and miss, and not necessarily a curation equaling causation. However, the Panthers are currently in a stretch of five games in nine nights where there will only be more than one day off before the Winter Classic on Friday. Forward Matthew Tkachuk stepped on the ice for the first time in a practice setting in a yellow non-contact jersey as he approaches his target date of late December, early January from his offseason surgery of a sports hernia and torn adductor muscle.
