This weekend, the White Sox signed Austin Hays to a 1 year/$6m contract. Hays is primarily a left fielder with a consistent track record of smashing left-handed pitching. Along with Hays, the Sox acquired two pitchers from the Red Sox; Jordan Hicks and David Sandlin for prospect Gage Ziehl. Along with the two pitchers, Boston sent $8m to cover some of Hicks contract.
