The Lakers and Mavs made a blockbuster trade: Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris to LA for Davis, Max Christie and the Lakers' 2029 first-round pick. The Jazz will also receive Jalen Hood-Schifino, the LA Clippers' 2025 second-round pick and the Mavs 2025 second-round selection.

But why at 2am without telling any other teams and whose idea was this? Did the Lakers get better or do the Mavs sneakily provide a better immediate fit for AD?
