Galatasaray eliminate Hajduk Split in the Europa League and go top of the Turkish Süper Lig after beating the reigning defending champions Istanbul Basaksehir, while both Besiktas and Fenerbahçe drop two precious points at home. Meanwhile Alexander Sörloth joins RB Leipzig and Vedat Muriqi officially joines Lazio Roma, but Fenerbahçe fans needn't wait long as the club are bringing in a replacement post-haste! Besiktas in turn have also seemingly found their man up top, as Vincent Aboubakar returns to Istanbul to undergo an extensive medical examination.
