The Dedeaux Download Podcast returns with Shotgun Spratling and podcast co-host Kasey Kazliner breaking down USC baseball's continued success at home after the Trojans recorded their eighth sweep of the season, improving to a nation's best home record of 28-1 at Dedeaux Field. They also talk with USC hitting coach Travis Jewett about the team's offensive production, which has seen an uptick in driving the baseball, knocking 19 extra-base hits over the weekend in a sweep of Rutgers.

Jewett joins the first half of the show to discuss how USC's offense continues to progress with hitters like Augie Lopez and Isaac Cadena really tapping into their power. (The duo has combined for 16 home runs since the start of April.) He discusses the approach USC's hitters are taking to the plate and why it may not be sexy, but it's good to take free base on balls.
