Episode Notes

Welcome to the Inside Heater podcast! We are two baseball fans by the names of Sutton and Elijah embarking on the journey of bringing you up to speed on baseball news, history, takes and series recaps. Our goal is to stay family-friendly (as much as possible) to connect generations and grow the game that we both love. We want our listeners to be able to listen to a podcast where parents can just throw it on in the car and hope that their love of the game will rub off on their children as well. On this episode, we show some love to the newest member of the 500 homerun club-Miggy Cabrera and discuss the legacy he will eventually leave on this generation of baseball and in baseball history. We follow that up with the discussion of another future Hall of Famer's legacy- Yadier Molina as he has announced next season will be his last. We give our viewpoints on the latest CBA talks where MLB is proposing a 100 mill salary floor and a 180 mill first tier luxury tax threshold. We talk about how the Dodgers are the best ran organization in all of baseball. We finish off with our thoughts on the Yankees run and the Athletics struggles. Whether it is good morning, good afternoon, or goodnight when you are listening, we thank you for tuning in.
