Carlos Alcaraz has claimed his first 1000 title of the season after winning the Monte Carlo Masters, defeating Lorenzo Musetti in the final. Alcaraz admitted he didn't play his best tennis all week leading me to question whether the 21-year-old is primed for clay court dominance for the next few seasons. The top women return to the red dirt with Sabalenka, Gauff, & Swiatek competing in Stuttgart. Alex Eala competes for the first time since her Miami Open semifinal run.
