5| The One with Tom Murphy

This week we have another one of our own PREMIERGK goalkeepers and someone who has experienced a lot in his young career so far!

Tom is the current No1 at Wexford Football Club playing in the League of Ireland Championship and has had a career that has seen him play for Everton Football Club before returning home to sign for UCD Football Club in the League of Ireland Premiership. 

This week, Tom gives us a great insight into the life of a full time academy footballer and shares some great advice on how to make the most of your experience within that professional environment. He talks about the how to stay positive when your professional dream takes a detour and on the life of a student athlete.
