It was supposed to be three easy points - three points which would have put us on top of the league outright going into Wednesday's game against Tottenham Hotspur after the Spurs drew 1-1 at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace earlier in the day. But alas, whether it was the continental hangover effect or the London rains, Liverpool pretty much took an entire half to get their bearings and allowed Fulham to take a point - albeit a deserved one - out of this game. Bobby Decordova-Reid gave the hosts a lead before a Mo Salah penalty helped the Reds share the spoils and still stay second going into the Spurs match.
