Real Salt Lake welcomed back Chicho Arango to The Riot after a less than ceremonial departure from the club in the offseason.
RSL and San Jose seem to be heading in different directions. The Claret and Cobalt have turned the season around and with the win find themselves in a playoff position that did not seem possible in May.
San Jose, even with all of their scoring talent and ability, have struggled on defense and have tumbled down and out of the a playoff spot.
