Wayne also recalls which game prompted two weeks of silent treatment to the squad from Sir Alex Ferguson, what he really thought of Mario Balotelli’s ‘Why Always Me?’ T-shirt, whether he thinks his overhead kick was better than Garnacho’s at Everton and why he was fuming when he scored his famous volley against Newcastle.
