When You Consider The Subpar Performance Against SK Rapid Wien In Austria, Which Actually Led To A 2-1 Win, It's Hard To Forgive The Less Than Stellar Shift We Saw The Team Put In At Home, Against A Leicester City Side That Hadn't Won Away At Arsenal In 47 Year's... We Are Continually Reaching New Low's, In Time's When Our Club Should Be Rebuilding To Reach Heights That We've Never Seen Before, While Watching Guy's That Don't Deserve To Wear The Arsenal Jersey & Kiss The Cannon Crest With Pride, Because They Have Shown A Lack Of Pride In How They Perform For The Badge. We Will Not Win A Champions League With Players Like Leno, Mustafi, Xhaka & Lacazette Playing Regular Minute's For Us In Key Positions That Form Part Of Our Team's Spine; It's Time To Start Playing More Of The U/23 & Academy Players In Those Positions, So That We Can See Where They Can Help The Team In Future Games, While Also Giving Us An Idea Of What We Still Need To Add To The Squad.
Top 4 Shouldn't Be A Subject For Us To Discuss Any Longer, As We Aren't Consistent Enough To Even Have That Conversation From Week-To-Week, It's Time To Focus On Our 4 Year Rebuilding Plan, Which Must Culminate In League & European Honours... For Us To Build Towards That, Certain Players Need To Be Phased Out, Released, Loaned Out, Or Sold In The Next 12 Months, With A Few Promising Laaities Being Promoted, And A Few More World Class Level Signings Being Made, In The Mould Of Auba, Gabriel & Partey.
These 4 Days, Between The Wien & Leicester Games Have Been Very Telling For Us As A Fanbase, It's Time To Recalibrate Our Plan & Build Towards Sustainable Success In The Future.
