The "serious" Florida Panthers concentrated hard enough to beat Detroit 3-2, and the Pittsburgh Penguins fulfilled Cam's prediction with an easy 4-1 win over Boston, but not without disappointing over-picks at the same time. Colorado Avalanche and the St. Louis Blues frustrated the forecast with a 5-goal result, but the New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Edmonton Oilers were as strong as Cam and Brian expected on Friday, winning recommended bets on a bargain NHL puck line and two money line markets respectively.
