The Red Sox (87-71) improved to 4-1 on their current 6-game Road Trip with a 7-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday night at Rogers Centre in Toronto. With Wednesday's win, the Red Sox are a season-high 16 games over .500 for the 3rd time this season. The Sox have won the first 2 games of the series and will go for the series sweep Thursday night.

Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet was terrific in earning his 18th victory of the season Wednesday night. Crochet is now tied with Yankees starter Max Fried with an AL-Best 18 wins on the season. The Sox lefty went 8 scoreless innings and retired 10 in a row to finish off his outing.  Crochet allowed only 3 Hits. He walked no one and struck out 6.  Crochet allowed the leadoff man to reach only once over his 8 Innings and 5 of his 6 strikeouts on the night came against the 1st batter of the inning. It's also his 6th scoreless outing of the season.

Sox at the Dish: The Sox pushed across 3 runs in the 1st Inning against Blue Jays starting pitcher, Max Scherzer. Masa Yoshida delivered with an RBI Single and Romy Gonzalez made it 3-0 with a 2-run Single. Yoshida led off the 5th with a Home Run off Scherzer to make it 4-0. It's Yoshida's 3rd Home Run of the season. Carlos Narvaez provided some more cushion with a 2-out, 3-run Home Run in the 8th to put the Sox in front, 7-0.  It's the 15th of the season for Narvaez, who has 5 RBIs in the Series.

--The Sox have won 3 straight road series and 5 of their last 6 series from Fenway. The Sox went 14-12 in their 26 regular season road series for 2025.    

--Masa Yoshida collected his 4th straight 2-hit game with a Double and Home Run in the win over the Jays Wednesday night. Yoshida has hit safely in 5 straight      and 7 of 8.  He has 7 RBIs over the last 8 games. 

--Jarren Duran went 0-for-0 with a walk and 2 strikeouts in Wednesday night's win. Duran is 0-for-9 with 5 strikeouts over the first 2 games of the series. 

--The Red Sox are now 32-19 against the 4 AL East Opponents and 5-7 vs. the Blue Jays with 1 more to go between the 2 teams.  

--The Sox improved to 35-2 over their last 37 games when scoring 5 or more runs.
