The Penn State Football team has one more weekend to make a first in-person impression on recruits in the 2027 and 2028 classes, and it starts on Saturday. Good news for Penn State’s  2027 recruiting

While he won’t be here for the official weekend, Rivals national reporter Steve Wiltfong wrote on Tuesday that star offensive lineman Maxwell Hiller planned to visit Penn State this week. We’ll discuss the significance of that news and the additional information that Hiller planned to visit Ohio State for the final recruiting weekend of the month. 

We’ll also start the show with the best news about the updated Class of 2026 rankings from Rivals this week before getting to the rest of the info later in the show. Which players made a significant jump in the standings? Ryan Snyder and Sean Fitz will discuss. 

Junior Day visitors this week

Next, we’ll discuss the players Snyder and Fitz know will be on campus this weekend. The team hosted just two junior days because of the transfer portal window at the beginning of the month. Now, they are making every effort to bring in key players on campus before the dead period begins in February. We’ll discuss which players are coming and which ones Penn State fans should know about. 

From there, we’ll return to the players who came to campus this past weekend and the conversations that Snyder had with players about their experience with the new Penn State staff. Which player reactions stood out the most to Snyder? We’ll ask him!
