DOLPHINS SQUAD SHOW: NFL TEAMS LINING UP TO TRADE FOR MIAMI DOLPHINS STAR PLAYERS AS CAP CUTS LOOM

The Miami Dolphins are doing everything they can to stop the bleeding and get out from under their self-inflicted wounds and get under the salary cap, and that means trades- lots of them. That said, the rumors are flying everywhere, all over the NFL, and the squad is busy digging through all of them to see which ones are legit possibilities, and which ones are for entertainment purposes only- our entertainment!

Would the Dolphins do the almost unthinkable, and trade DeVon Achane?

The 24 year-old superstar RB had a breakout year in 2025, running for over 1,800 yards on just over 300 touches (238 carries, 67 balls and scored 12 touchdowns. But with a soft trade market for RB’s, (meaning the value you would get back is weak) the squad is unanimous on whether or not they should do this deal. Which way do you think the guys are going on this one?

What about Minkah Fitzpatrick?

A 3x consecutive Pro Bowl safety, (2022-24) Minkah is just 29 years old and coming off a very solid 2nd half of last season. He’s a great leader and a hard-hitter with a nose for the football. He’s also heading into the final year of his deal. The squad is also unanimous on this one. What should they do with Minkah?

Several other prominent Fins players are being talked about- guys like OT Austin Andrews, WR Jaylen Waddle and many more. The squad breaks it all down and gives our hot takes on all of it.

We also dive into the obligatory QB1 conversation we have in every episode, and the squad has mixed feelings about potential trade targets and free agent signings.

Today’s latest fascinating possibility for them to take a chance on is Jalen Milroe of the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks. The former ‘Bama QB is fast and super athletic with a strong arm. He’s also heading into his 2nd season, and might only cost Miami a 3rd-round pick.

We also talk about ESPN NFL Insider Jeff Darlington (a favorite of our Kyle Crabbs) and his comments made on The Joe Rose Show on WQAM. Darlington is always completely locked in- and Locked On- when it comes to the Dolphins, and he is saying there is no way Tua will be back here next season.
