The flame of a very exciting Europa League season was extinguished last Wednesday as Villareal scripted a classic underdog story to beat Manchester United 11-10 on penalties. Both sides were locked at 1-1 after extra-time and the penalty shootout was decided by both goalkeepers, as David de Gea's kick from the spot was saved by Rulli.
