Apr. 16, 2026: Vegas It Will Be In The First Round, Game 82, Statistician Russ Brooks and Previewing NHL Awards

Mike and AD begin the show on Utah's now known first-round matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights, followed by a game day preview of game number 82 against the St. Louis Blues before they get to shoutouts. The guys then have on team Broadcast Statistician Russell Brooks to talk about how Mammoth radio and television broadcasters get all of their stats and fun facts during broadcasts. To end off the show, awards season comes a little early as we go over some of our favorite candidates for the NHL's season-ending honors and then close the Thursday edition on a team that won't be receiving any awards.
