GREEN LIGHT: Is Michael Penix READY to Take Over Atlanta Falcons QB1 Spot From Tua Tagovailoa?

Atlanta Falcons' quarterback situation heats up as Michael Penix inches closer to receiving the "green light" amid Tua Tagovailoa's ongoing struggles. Can Penix bring the stability this team craves, or will Tua's lack of confidence continue to undermine Atlanta’s preseason momentum? Hosts Aaron Freeman and Jarvis Davis (Locked On Georgia Tech) dissect the recent practice performances, question Tua’s fit in Kevin Stefanski’s offense, and preview the potential impact of Penix’s return to full-team activities.

Za'Darius Smith’s arrival bolsters a pass rush seeking answers after James Pearce’s suspension, and the duo spotlights the development of Ethan Onianwa and Zachariah Branch, while considering whether the Falcons’ offseason moves signal a genuine win-now approach. Can Atlanta’s depth and coaching adjustments keep them in the NFC South race?
