Coach Prime makes a long-awaited change to Colorado's defensive staff

On today’s DNVR Buffs Podcast, Jake Schwanitz and Scott Procter discuss the first major move of the offseason for Coach Prime and Colorado’s defensive coaching staff. Colorado has hired former Virginia Tech defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Chris Marve to be Colorado’s new linebackers coach. Colorado has also filled that vacancy left by Marshall Faulk at running backs coach, Johnnie Mack has been promoted to Colorado’s running backs coach after serving CU as an assistant in 2025. Four-star Colorado signee, Carson Crawford and Carthage High School have won their Texas High School Football State Championship. Shaun Myers and John Slaughter have decided to enter the transfer portal. Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns fall to the Buffalo Bills.
