LESSONS LEARNED? Mark Pope Works to FIX Kentucky Wildcats After Roster Missteps Last Season

Kentucky Wildcats overhaul their roster after last season’s point guard woes. Can Coach Mark Pope’s revamped lineup restore the program’s dominance in SEC basketball?

Isaac Schade and Lance Dawe preview Kentucky’s upcoming season, spotlighting the additions of top transfer Milan Momcilovic and rising star Malachi Moreno. Key topics include potential starting lineups, X-factors like Alex Wilkins’ fit in the backcourt, and the fierce battle for the power forward spot between Ousmane N'diaye and Justin McBride. The show breaks down Kentucky’s high-profile non-conference schedule—featuring Kansas, North Carolina, and Virginia—and debates whether the roster has enough talent to meet Big Blue Nation’s sky-high expectations. Insightful predictions on SEC standings, season win totals, and whether this Kentucky squad has unlocked the winning formula round out the episode.
