Liverpool Want Camara NOW?! January Transfer Plans Take Shape

Dave Davis returns with the latest Liverpool transfer news on Newsround, with the Reds' midfield and right-back positions firmly under the spotlight.

Lamine Camara emerges as one of Liverpool's most intriguing potential January targets, with Dave explaining why the Monaco midfielder could provide the physicality and defensive presence missing from Andoni Iraola's side. Alex Scott also remains in the conversation, although his injury situation and Bournemouth's reluctance to sell could complicate any immediate move.

Attention also turns to Liverpool's right-back plans, with Daniel Banjaqui, Ronald Araujo and a potential return for Jarell Quansah all discussed. Could Liverpool activate Quansah's buyback clause, or would a more affordable, physically dominant alternative make greater sense?

There's also the latest on reported interest in Mexican wonderkid Gilberto Mora, Fulham's Josh King and Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal, as Dave considers which targets genuinely fit Liverpool's evolving transfer strategy.
