Are 5-Star Recruits the Biggest Waste of NIL Money?

Are five-star recruits still worth the massive investment in today's NIL era? Matt Moscona dives into new data showing that many elite recruits fail to meet expectations or transfer before making a lasting impact. He explains why Lane Kiffin's roster-building philosophy at LSU may be ahead of the curve, breaks down the Tigers' approach to recruiting high school talent versus the transfer portal, and examines what it means for LSU's current five-star players and future recruiting classes. If the old recruiting model is changing, this episode explains why—and what comes next.
