PODCAST: Preseason Takeaways on Kon Knueppel, Collin Sexton and MORE!

Every Hornets Boxscore is back for another season of in-depth game notes and analysis on every single Hornets game! Host Doug Branson is joined by new contributor Evan Hale of Halestorm Sports to get the 2025-26 season started with a full recap of the preseason opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder. While the Hornets fell 135-114 to OKC's B-team, the real story was the impressive debut of rookie Kon Knueppel. Knueppel looked comfortable and confident, scoring a team-high 18 points and showcasing a crafty, fundamental offensive game that was consistently in the flow of the offense.

Evan, reporting from inside the arena in North Charleston, gives his perspective on the atmosphere and the performances that stood out live.
