At long last, Spencer Jones is up with the big club, and we have him in studio for this week’s episode of the New York Yankees Official Podcast. The 6-foot-7 outfielder chats with Yankees Magazine deputy editor Jon Schwartz about his development, his expectations and his pick between New York and Nashville’s version of Broadway. Then, Jon is joined by YES Network’s Meredith Marakovits for a discussion about the ongoing news around the Yankees, the pitchers returning from injuries, Jazz Chisholm’s May 14 fundraiser, the Tunnel Fits & Kicks Fashion Show and, of course, they reflect on the passing of beloved Yankees radio voice John Sterling. Finally, senior museum curator Brian Richards stops for a chapter of History Books, offering his own tribute to Sterling, plus a look at the history of the Yankees on the radio.
