POSTCAST: Bats INCONSISTENT Once Again, Mets Lose One-Run Game

The offense for the New York Mets was once again missing, as they fell to the Arizona D-backs 2-1.

Last night the Mets were able to play a tie game and find the big hit in extras. Tonight, the bats were cold again and the D-backs did just enough against Clay Holmes to earn the win. 

You've heard the story before. Much of the game saw the Mets bats be lifeless. They did not have a baserunner after the 5th inning. The top three of the order did not get a hit. They had three hits the whole game.

Offense remains the long-term concern with this team, despite getting another good start from Clay Holmes.
