Check out what a day of crewing and pacing at the 2025 Western States Endurance Run looks like. I joined Joe Stringbean McConaughy's crew at the iconic race and got a hard look at what goes into racing 100 miles. The pressure, heat, challenges of the course, months of training, hours of highs and lows, camaraderie, and finish line feels, all left me with one question: Do I ever want to race the 100 mile distance?
